Eggs

I just d/led the app and been playing it since last night. Unfortunately, I cant seem to breed my fish. They get pregnant but they wont lay any eggs. Whenever I check up on them, theyre not pregnant anymore; still no eggs/baby fish to be seen. Is this a glitch? Or do I have to wait a bit more to start seeing the baby fishies.
Its frustrating to have to wait for a long time for nothing.
